After having a crazy week of my mind going berserk and barely crafting, I have returned to the world of yarn, hooks and needles. This little cephalopod was an Easter gift to my mom who has been asking for a lil octopus since last summer. I also tried making a tissue holder but it came out too small and then my sewing machine wouldn't go through the four layers of fabric. I'm thinking I need new needles.I also managed to finish all 24 of the small squares for my dad's afghan (6 more to go!) and 2 squares for my mom's afghan. The March square, Cygnus is too difficult so I found another square to substitute. Here are pictures of my first two finished squares for my mom:
