Shenandoah National Park June 27 - 28

Oh, Shenandoah, I long to hear you,
Away, you rolling river

Bluets.

All these people died around 1940. We used to assume there was a car crash, but now we know it's a family grave. There are three other graves to the left of this grave marker.

Bear hat! When you press the ears, it growls. :E

More deer. Look how fat she is! We didn't see any bears, but we did see a mother and two fawns right outside our cabin. The fawns were so tiny and they were jumping around and playing. So cute!

And this is Masanutten, Adie Nairn Pollock's cabin. (She was the wife of, no not Jackson Pollock, but George Pollock, the proprietor of the park.)
