Kitteh Bonnet

The 8th was Susie's 2nd birthday, therefore she needed a birthday present. Why I feel the need to knit my cats hats for their birthdays, I'll never know. (Remember Arwen's Le chat élégant?)

She was not a happy kitteh.

But I'm sure if she knew how cute she looked she'd be ok with it.

Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in Peruvian Print, leftovers from my Inga's bag, which needs its straps sewn on and a good soak in the tub.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm)
Date cast on: 11 April
Date cast off: 11 April (It only took a few hours.)

I really think Arwen needs one, no? The great thing about it is it leaves their ears open. They hate when their ears are covered, that usually bothers them the most. Sure, she's not crazy about it, but Susie puts up with more than Arwen, so she'll walk around in.
